Butterfly House. South Bank 2007. Installation using recycled plastic bags. Over 5 thousand children took part in collecting and assembling pompoms made from 50,000 bags. Each child made a butterfly with a map of their area. At night the sculpture was lit, by day visitors could go and relax inside which was bathed in coloured light.
